What type of student are you?

First-Time Freshman

You are a first-time freshman if you have never attended college, OR are applying to attend after completing high school or GED®, OR all your college credits were earned prior to high school graduation (or equivalent).

Dual Credit or Early Admit

You will be a dual credit student if you are a New Mexico resident still in high school or home school and want to take college-level courses at ߣߣÊÓÆµ. You are an early admit student if you are a high school student taking classes at ߣߣÊÓÆµ who lives out of state or are homeschooled.

Returning

You are a returning student if you previously attended ߣߣÊÓÆµ but have not enrolled in courses for one year or more. If you are a returning student, you need to re-apply for admission.

Transfer

You are a transfer student if you have taken any college-level coursework at a regionally accredited college after high school graduation or GED® completion.

International

You will be an international student if you are not a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

Non-Degree

You are a non-degree student if you will be taking college classes but not pursuing a degree or certificate at ߣߣÊÓÆµ. You will still need to apply in order to register for classes.

Registering for classes at ߣߣÊÓÆµ is easy. Once you have been admitted to ߣߣÊÓÆµ, you'll be able to register for classes through MySJC. We have in-person, online, and hybrid classes available.

Free Gym Membership

If you're enrolled in 4 or more credit hours at ߣߣÊÓÆµ, you get a FREE membership to the Health and Human Performance Center (HHPC). Enjoy state-of-the-art fitness facilities, an indoor track, a climbing wall, basketball courts, and more.
